Food Temperatures – Cooking and Holding

The webinar explains proper cooking and holding practices, the science behind the guidelines, why they are important, and how cooking and holding food improperly can cause foodborne illness. Case studies on actual outbreaks will be used to discuss temperature abuse related to improper cooking and holding.

It provides 1 hour of continuing education credit for school nutrition employees in North Carolina.
