Why aren’t the module videos in Moodle playing for me?
We have found in some cases that participants who are trying to access the Moodle course from a work computer have had issues with the modules playing. If this happens to you, please try to access the content from a personal device.
Who do I contact if I am having issues with the learning platform?

If you are experiencing issues, you can watch our help videos at go.ncsu.edu/spfm-help to see if we answer your question there. If you have issues or questions that are not answered there, feel free to use the question forum on the Moodle site or contact us at spfm-online@ncsu.edu and we will assist you as best as we can.

When do I need to take my exam?
When you schedule your exam depends on how much time you want to spend going through the course and the availability of a local proctor. You will have access to the course for 365 days from the date of registration, but Safe Plates has no set timeline on when you have to complete the exam.
How do I schedule my exam?
You should receive an email connecting you to your closest proctor. If you are not contacted by them, feel free to reach out to your proctor over email. The list of proctors in each county can also be found on the Moodle page.

Are the course materials offered in any other languages?

As of now, the training program and materials are only offered in English. You can, however, take the exam in English, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, or Korean. Please let your proctor know if you are wishing to take the exam in another language. We are working toward translating the training program and the materials to other languages, and will update this FAQ when those are available.
 
Can I share my login information with others who did not register?
Giving others who have not paid to register access to the course is prohibited and a breach of copyright. Legal action may be taken if this situation occurs.
